Roller Coaster

It’s one thing to talk about death and to watch it creep up personally. The way a soul twist and turn in a roller coaster between here and there, is one of the most exquisite experience anyone could ever have.

Moribund, is not as unpleasant or as peaceful as one could have imagined. Particularly in the case of a sick and dying old soul...

One of Those Days

Yup. It’s one of those days, when all you can think of is how you’re going to bash someone’s head in the bar...or how you are going to attack the next bastard turning into the alley...

It’s one of those days alright, when the mental thirst to hate and destroy just gets too much to handle that your hands start to tremble every time you try to suppress it.

And when you’re actually too old to be having a teenage angst that might stir up such emotion, then maybe it is time to contemplate just how fucking mentally sick you really are, eh?

AND......What better music would accompany such contemplation than the likes of Aura Noir?

By the way, that 19th century cartoon posted at the beginning is supposed to express prejudice against the Irish people...Fuck, if all Irish people are as untamed as that I would be proud to be an Irishman....Stupid cartoon...

Deathly New Year - Part 3

How deathly could firecrackers and the wind be, one might ask?

They seemed pretty lethal in early 2012, particularly in the Philippines and Colorado.

A Philippine official says at least 476 people have been injured by powerful firecrackers and gunfire despite a government scare campaign against dangerous New Year revelries.

One report suggested that injured revelers, many of which are children, filled Philippines’ hospital emergency rooms shortly after midnight. 454 were reportedly injured by firecrackers, 18 by stray bullets and four by accidentally swallowing small firecrackers or explosive powder.

Swallowed firecrackers and stray bullets? Seems like the Philippines do know how to have fun.

Meanwhile, in Colorado, high winds sweeping through the Northern Rockies forced the shutdowns along long stretches of highways and resulted in at least one death.

A Colorado driver reportedly died at a hospital after suffering fatal injuries in a freak accident when a tree branch snapped off in a heavy gust and smashed through his windshield

This all sounds like the perfect circumstance to listen to something wild and grim, such as the delightful musical diatribes of Aura Noir.

Long Day Cure

It’s been a long-long day. The kind of day when all you want to do is lie on the couch with a shot full of booze down the pipe, but you can’t. Because tons and tons of meaningless things called ‘workload’ is cluttered before you and demands your full attention.

What a day.

I have found that the only way to relieve the mounting headache after such a day, rather than hammering it with more hangover headache, is to listen to good, loud and filthy metal. Of particular effectiveness are those old-styled, Thrashy Black Metal stuffs. The kind that newer bands nowadays, as rumors has it, like so much to emulate (or is it ‘resurrect’?)...

Whatever. Here are my choices of shitty-long-day panacea from the good ole 90s.

Nothing from the 2000s? OF COURSE NOT.
